On September 26, 2007, Pastrana jumped out of an airplane over Arecibo, Puerto Rico, without a parachute in a carefully choreographed stunt. He met up in midair with another jumper, then latched himself to him with a harness to have a safe landing.
Then in September 2010, Pastrana had set the world record for the fastest ascent of Mount Washington in a car, that would be using his Subaru WRX STi. The time was 6 minutes, 20.47 seconds on a 7.6-mile road wich would usually take normal cars 30-45 minutes depending on different situations.
On Friday, January 1, 2010, Pastrana had yet another new world record in a ramp-to-ramp car jump. He had jumped his Subaru rally car off a ramp on the pine street Pier onto a floating barge anchored in Long Beach's Rainbow Harbour, breaking the existing distance of 171 feet and establishing a new world distance record of 269 feet, that's 98 feet further.
